New Rocket Union is a garage punk rock ' n ' roll two-piece band based out of Minneapolis, MN. Since their album title “Twin Cities Breakdown” is self-explanatory, I hand-illustrated the two members in their band van breaking down in front of a Minneapolis cityscape with its iconic First Ave Club. The illustration style is my tribute to Ed Roth and his legendary Rat Fink hot rod art, as he is a personal hero of mine since childhood.
