Morrissey's Irish Pub

Starting as a dull empty building in a busy Minneapolis Uptown neighborhood, I helped the team at Morrissey’s visualize their dream of an Irish Pub and Tea Room. From full branding, to the exterior building facade design, to the interior design elements - I designed the logo, custom signage, awnings, ironwork, rugs, window gold-leafing type, merch, menu design, bar utensils and staff uniforms.

 

I created an Irish experience by using the aesthetic of The Brazen Head - Ireland's oldest bar (est. 1198), The Book of Kells Experience at Trinity College Dublin that features a 1,200-year-old illuminated Gospel manuscript, regarded as Ireland’s finest national treasure, and then sprinkled it all with a light touch of the Uptown arts & punk rock attitude the community is well known for.
